  7.     McFILEMASTER is a PC or MS-DOS User Interface utility that allows
  8.     users greater control over the files residing on their PC's than
  9.     does the conventional DOS Operating System, or many other utility
  10.     packages.

  12.     The SEARCH, COPY, and DELETE facilities allow for selection of
  13.     specific files on the basis of certain attribute and time charac-
  14.     teristics which files inherit as a consequence of their creation.

  16.     The features provided for by McFILEMASTER would be particularly
  17.     desirable for anyone in either technical or nontechnical industry,
  18.     where using the personal computer has become routine; and the need
  19.     for reliably transferring work between machines is commonplace.

  21.     FUNCTIONS

  23.     FILE SERVICES
  24.  
  25.     The FILE SERVICES Main Menu choice allows for greater file control
  26.     than is available by other conventional means.  This is accom-
  27.     plished by giving the user the ability to sort through files by
  28.     Time/Date Specifications and other file Attribute Specifications.
  29.     The user can specify this command to be applied to a single direc-
  30.     tory or all subdirectories.  In this manner the whole disk can be
  31.     acted upon.

  33.     SYSTEM INFO

  35.     The SYSTEM INFO Main Menu choice provided by McFILEMASTER allows
  36.     the user to verify certain system features used in the FILE
  37.     SERVICES operations.  The TIME, DATE sub-menu selection provides
  38.     the system time and date.  The amount of conventional and extended
  39.     memory is obtained through the MEMORY sub-menu selection.  The DOS
  40.     version number is available through the DOS VERSION sub-menu
  41.     selection.

  43.     EQUIPMENT

  45.     The EQUIPMENT Main Menu choice allows for verification of machine
  46.     equipment with the MACHINE INFO sub-menu choice.  The other sub-
  47.     menu selections allow the user to set the system time and date
  48.     that will be used in the FILE SERVICES operations.

  51. 512k RAM.
